Know About Our Charity

Enganjani Community Transformation is a registered Indigenous organization (Reg N0.8330) With the National Bureau of NGOs. The organisation mainly operates in the districts of Hoima, and Kikuube Districts. The organization was established with the aim of promoting sustainable and resilient communities as an approach to transforming communities.

The organization is specifically interested in promoting modern agricultural practices, skilling youths and women, promoting literacy, promoting health and good nutrition and ensuring sustainable use of the natural environment.

ENGANJANI

WHY ENGANJANI!!!!!!!!!!!

The word Engangani is from the Nyoro Language which means Friends or coming together for a common goal. The organization is formed on the basis of friends coming together to join forces to handle issues affecting communities. The organization uses an approach of volunteerism from individuals and organisations as a support system to implement her projects.

At Enganjani we recognize that communities face multiple challenges that deter them from progressing towards growth and development. We are also cognizant that majority of our communities have youths that are unemployed, use drugs and survive on minimum incomes. This leaves our communities at risks of cyclic poverty and insecurity. We therefore believe initiatives that promote education, modern agriculture, skills training, health promotion and environmental rights will offer sustainable solutions to challenges that affect our communities.
