Agriculture for development
Agriculture is the backborne of Uganda and our agricultural initiatives aim at providing farmers with the necessary modern agricultural skills to increase agricultural productivity for better incomes. The organization engages with smallholder farmer groups to identify and deal with production and marketing challenges to ensure the capacity of farmers are built to produce better for a better community. Our agricultural trainings focus on youth and women farmers to build resilience of these groups who are majorly affected by limited control and access to land as a major resource of agriculture.
The organisations envisions initiatives that support farmers to operate their VSLAs and also provide support that enhances production such as providing seeds, agro-inputs and training in integrated pest management and post-harvest handling. This can only be achieved with support from partners which will enable the organization to reach out to our farmers.
Apparently, we offer agricultural training by use of our volunteers who offer coffee agronomic trainings, horticultural agronomic training and we believe with this effort we are creating great impact to our smallholder farmers.
